Hiring a Postpartum Doula Increases a Family's:

Now and then, everyone needs to ask for help. Not everyone has family that can assist a new mother with her recovery period, and not every new mother wants her family to help! For that reason, postpartum doulas are a terrific resource. Moms who find us particularly useful are anyone who has had surgery or a difficult delivery, a mom who's given birth to two or more babies, moms who have other children at home, anyone with a risk/history/feelings of postpartum depression, a mom with a handicap or anyone who would benefit from the support and guidance a postpartum doula has to offer.

 

Postpartum Doula Services Package Includes:
  • Breastfeeding support
  • Assistance with newborn care
  • Care for mother recovering from childbirth and a lack of sleep
  • light housekeeping and meal preparation
  • sibling care
  • day, night, evening, weekend hours available

$20 per hour with a 4 hour minimum (within York Region)
